WTB Big Dog Boxer (ideally 2001)

Hi,

New member here, I'm trying to find a Big Dog Boxer, preferably 2001 but I'll consider other years. I'm near Seattle Washington but can travel for the right deal.

I went to see a 2004 Boxer in Kennewick, WA this weekend. I really liked the bike and was ready to purchase... but they had no documentation and the back-story they provided didn't make sense.

Anyway, if you know of any Boxers, preferably 2001 and preferably somewhere on the west coast please drop me a line. Thanks!

Well, the 2001 Big Dog Boxer arrived and I'm thrilled! It's in better shape than I expected and I'm really enjoying it.

Issues so far that I'll research here when I get a sec - Turn signals don't work on one side and the head gasket is leaking on the front cylinder. Also, the pipes are WAY too loud for my comfort, so I'll be swapping those out first chance I get.

Of course I have one of Biker Babe's bell balls already on the bike.

And the icing on the cake? I managed to nab the personalized plate "BOXER", it'll be here "in 6-8 weeks" per the nice fella at the DOL.

My wife never wanted to ride with me on my other bikes, but she says she wants to ride the Boxer. So I'll be back in your shop this summer because she'll need to dress the part!
