Looking for both on a '07 K-9. Battery cover on right side cracked under seat; no idea how but probably the dipshits I had working on it. That's done with, might as well break $h!t myself.

Also looking for new license plate bracket, preferably one that runs vertical instead of stock horizontal. Any leads on something of the sort?

Hell, while I'm at it what about a gas tank? This one not priority but someone has reasonable enough price I might consider it.

Thanks.

Ck your state laws regarding the mounting of the plate. Here in FL there are two statutes governing the license plate. One says its ok to mount it vertically if you have a transponder for the toll roads. The other says it must be horizontal no matter what. Originally the fine was $1250, it has since been lowered. Just because you have a WI tag, the Daytona cops will still cite you. Heads up.

I have seen plate mounting kits that will swivel the plate from horizontal to vertical. May want to ck that out.

You can fix the side covers by using resin and fiberglass kit for body work from advance auto or pep boys and the mount you have now can be modified to go vertical, I go to Florida for bike week and I haven't been pulled over for it yet, prolly there 15 times or more

I remember there was a talk about this last year, I then did search FL rules (link is here somewhere) and it looked pretty clear. Plate can be vertical, you do not need transponder. They did change the confusing law a while ago.
All that said, I will not pay if you get a ticket from a cop who does not know the new rules!
