They didn't make a K9 in 2003. If it is a Chopper...they had 2 different frames and the struts are specific to the frame because they had different offsets. They are very difficult to find...and if you do...the going rate is about $800!!!!

Was going through posts today, and came across this thread. I noticed my user, and kinda remembered i had made this this one(probably my first post on the forum), and kinda forgot. Im not sure why, but the first 3-4 posts i made, i never got any kind of notification when you guys answered. Works now though.
Anyway, as too the post itself: Yeah, i figured the sissy bars were expensive. I think it was from autopartswarehouse catalog i found sissybars for the 03 Chopper for about what you said JR03, around 850 USD. Guess im gonna have to dig deep, and just buy it.
As for the K9 comment, i also fiigured out that the local company where im from, have imported quite a few BD Choppers. The guy in charge thought they were called K9 for some reason, which would be the reason why many BG Chopper owners in Norway think they have K9's, when they actually have a Chopper.

Now you mention this........ mine is a K9, but for some reason when it was documented here in Europe they wrote down "K9 Chopper" ....

Yeah i know. Some are registered as Chopper, some as K9 and some as K) Chopper hehe.. No Wonder ppl get confused.
