Any idea's for covering the stock mounting tab, I think it will prolly be all fugged up since I have broken 3 brackets...
I think there was a thread on the "other site", but I couldn't find anything here?
Cutter, I'm thinking that cause I wear western boots that I could have a boot cut/waterjetted and would cover that space real nice! :D

Now if I could only find a shop to do it.

Later,
Ray

You decked the heads and not cut the jugs?
Your right Gas... Dusting the heads cutting the juggs...
According to the guy doing the work... alot of the S&S compression ratios have been inconsistent because of differences in the juggs ?

sounds good cutter - any idea what your compression will be?
I was told they will put me around 10.5+

Send me a pic - I could laser something out of aluminum that you could polish or have chromed - 1/4" thick?...
I am NOT very artistic, but you could contact RedHen to make it something really special... :2thumbs:

you mean to say "DECKING the heads and NOT cutting the jugs"

right?
By dusting, I meant just running a cutter over them to garantee a good flat surface with minimal stock/material removal.

By cut I meant actually removing about .040 of stock/material.

Both halves will be machined/decked? :2thumbs:

Still haven't decided on an air cleaner...

Looking like it's between:
Doherty Power Packscream-eagle-insert.jpg
Waiting for specs on the Gates Performance? it is similar to RSD Venturipb_showlarge.jpg
Kuryakin HiFive12387_kur_9480_tt_h_wt.jpg
Ness big Sucker IIrammer_zipper.jpg

I have pretty much written off the Kury...ProRpror.jpg
I have been convinced that I will have tuning problems because of the pressure of the air at highway speeds causing lean... even though I think it could be modified to minimize that.
I have also heard of mechanical and water issues...

I'll make up my mind by Friday...
My pipes are getting the ceramic inside and should be shipped next week :2thumbs:

I would say doherty/desperato or the RSD... RSD more so cause it looks hott and nobody else has it.

The hifive looks cheap as does the sucker II (called the sucker cause it sucks).

That was my first choice, but unfortunately the RSD cant come up with an adapter, and needs to have the backing plate redesigned for the G's
No immediate plans for that...

Waiting for some specs on the Gates Performance, it is polished aluminum...

Otherwise it will prolly be the Doherty?

Get Dozer to make it fit or design it yourself and have Cav cut somin. I had to do this many times during my project.

Dozer is a great talent, but the costs for a one off

Cav does good work, but I have cut a few things in my day as well...

I got the tools - I did a one off supercharger for Don Garlits a couple years ago... an air cleaner would be well within my abilities if I wanted to spend the time...
I have worked too many 80-100 hour weeks over the last 22 years - constantly under pressure
I prefer playing cards... had another goood night at MGM on Monday :whoop:

Oh, I pay...

The difference is I pay $8. per half hour... ...or at smaller tables, they "rake" from each pot... ...tips for the dealer... ...$11 for Jack on the rocks while playing($15 if you aren't)... ...$20 in gas... ...$80 for the babysitter...

I started a separate account for poker, my bike and "extras" and I consider those things overhead... BUT

I just found out last weekend that the OL cashed an IRA and blew all of the money last year...
so now we get to pay a boat load in taxes on the F'ing money she lost...  :bang:  :argue: :cursin:
She hasn't contributed to the "family fund" since the beginning of October and blown all of her unemployment from last year(more F'in taxes) and all her paychecks since Jan 7... :toily:

She is a technically sound poker player, but allows the emotional aspect to get her in trouble... and then those damn slots... and trying to "make it back":zzdisappointed:

Last night we were playing a $5 "fer fun" poker tournament with friends at a local bar...
she busts out of the game...
goes off and finds a slot machine at the bar that they "pay" on and starts playing...
tells me that it's OK 'cause she won te $10 bucks she put in on an instant ticket  WTF?
(I left her ass at the bar, but she is still alive this morning and very lucky I had to go to work)

I don't even like to gamble - I only play poker, the rest is all designed and guaranteed to separate you from your money.

The $5,000 I won Monday doesn't seem so good anymore...:(

:rant2:

Sorry for the Rant & Jacking my own thread, but I have definately paid for those F'in lights. :zzsorry:
