I got done installing the WP381 on my bike, and brought it to the shop to have the rear tire aligned and throw in a new battery. everything worked in testing and the bike fired up. I left the shop, everything worked fine and then I lost all of my lights, speedo and all dash lights.
issue 1 - the coil is running very hot.
issue 2 - where the old EHC J5 plug goes into the little black box, the light is not coming on.
issue 3 - at the J6 connector, where it goes in to the light control module, there are 5 lights on it. On the module closest to the aluminum backing plate, 3 lights come on. The lights are nearest to the aluminum backing plate. 2 are green, but the light coming on in the middle is red, and the far 2 lights do not come on. Also, with everything off, where the little brown wafers are on that module, it is VERY HOT. We got it to the point where the headlight would come on, no front turn signals, no rear turn, no running lights, no brake lights. All of the dash lights are out also, however, when you first turn the key on, it will try to come on, and then real quick, within 1/2 second go out.
