Still working on getting the Wire Plus kit installed on my 2004 Chopper, only get a couple hours a week so this project seems to be dragging on...
Question: What would be the reccommended fusing options for this installation? I'm still using the 30A resetable breaker that came on the bike, although the reset button seems to be flakey, does not hold when pressed in. Can I safely do away with the 30 Amp breaker and run an in-line 30 or 40 Amp fuse? What other lines should I consider fusing and what size fuse should I go with? Also, on grounding, does it make a difference if I ground to chassis verse grounding to battery negative terminal?
