WP to EHC ?

I have a WP on my -08 K9, Don't really like the mess of wires, specially after the unit died on me on the road while ago (overcharging) and a friendly dragster builder helped me to hot-wire the bike to get home, so now it is even more the mess!
I do know there has been some mods to original wires to install WP, is it rather simple to convert back to original for an idiot like me?

You can do it - You just need to find an Original K9 Harness so you can get rid of the one you had bastardized. You are going to need that big connector back. It will be pretty much the same as the RIP Kit install at that point.

I had the same situation. I rewired my own TH.
I would recommend Gen 1 RIP so you can get rid of the D sub connectors because they are not sealed.

My WP is working fine, replaced the unit three years ago. The original actually took 19 volts for about 1500 miles before giving up! What worries me is we used , as we call them in Finland, current robbers, to hot wire the bike and I have been thinking how close to break those wires are now, after some 10.000 extra miles.
Well I look into this when I have time. Busy going sailing to BVI, then to San Francisco and then to Finland. Shit, I hear Fayetteville calling on Sep. so maybe in October! I'm too busy having fun and I was supposed to take tins to a painter too!
