Would you buy a K9 site unseen?

I have been looking and looking for a K9 with no luck. Found this one on e-bay, sounds like what I want at a fairly good price. But it being in Missouri and me in PA I can't go look at it. How big a chance would I take by pressing "Buy it now" and have it shipped? Just wondering what you guys think.

Good advice. That is what I did when I bought my Chevelle. I paid a local guy to look at the car with an unbiased eye. In the long run, it was better because he didn't have a dog in the fight and could give an honest opinion. It was also cheaper than jumping on a plane and looking at it myself. Just be sure to get someone qualified to check it out.

Road Trip....We have members in that area....Nice looking bike.

My only comment is the VIN # is a little wierd looking. Never seen one painted like that. You could run the number through car fax maybe...just a thought

Hey Earl I have seen some of the Big Dog vins painted that metal gray color don't remember what years though. At least the bike has s@s rocker boxes which is a good thing!:flag:

When I bought mine off Ebay..I talked to the seller quite a few times with questions. Then I asked him to take a video of the bike running. That way you can kind of get an idea what it sounds like. Good luck! And it does look nice.

Jim did you even read my post above. We have an assistance list member right there where the bike is located. :loony:

I shot him a pm with my number. Maybe he'll ring me in the morning. Its been a bit rainy the last coup,e days but today it warmed nicely and dried all up. If I end up going maybe I'll ride mine out. Give that one a once over and then ride it and then give it the after ride once over again. We shall see.
