Would you buy a Dog off Ebay???

I bought both of my Ironhorses off of eBay. Went and picked the first one up (only 4 hours away) and had the second shipped from Texas. The guy that I bought the one from in Texas had sent me letterhead of a car dealership that he worked at so I checked on line to make sure that the dealership existed and that he was a current employee. If I remember correctly I actually called the dealership and spoke to him on the phone about the bike.

Bought mine in 06 when you couldn't hardly get in line for one; for 24k from a soon to be ex wife. She was pissed at him to say the least. Sent me a few pics, had the truck come get it and sent it across country to me. Longest two weeks of my life! Plus, most guys are probably members here by now anyway and most guys take good care of their stuff. Also, I've gone to look at two different bikes for members who found one that was local to me. Offer still stands!

I am in New Zealand and got a bike from the States, i just did my research first and was aware of all of the faults with Big Dogs. I am very happy with what I got.

Me too. eBay! Fortunately it was about 2 hours away. Road trip in march to look at my first dog and ride it home. Always remember. Buyer beware!!
