Hi need help. My son is in the Air Force in Del Rio, Tx and his 2006 K-9 Big Dog will not start. The battery kept having lose connections and then it went bad with the terminal coming lose. He replaced the battery but now it will do nothing. What does he need to do? Appreciate any ones help.

He needs to make sure all the connections have been re-connected and tight. Sounds like he might have missed a connection if he's getting nothing. It might have dropped down...

If you turn the key on and get nothing, such as no lights and nothing on the EHC, look and see if he missed a wire when installing the new battery.

If it has a new bat with a full charge and he turns the key and gets nothing he may want to check the key switch just to make sure that its workin. It would'nt be the first one to go bad. also even though he reconnected all the wires he may also want to check to make sure that the crimps are good and tight on the connectors. (He needs to make sure the bat is good as well, new doesn't always mean good and these bikes require a fully charged high amp bat.)

I have him checking all of this, anyway that it could be the EHC. I thought it might be the switch, not sure how to check it. Thanks everyone
