won't start in cold weather

My K-9 won't start in cold weather. When I try to start it the horn cherps once and the lights blink. So i turn it off and let it set for a while and the temp rises it will start. Is this some kind of default system or what?

Low battery! Do you have a battery tender? Should be hooked up now. Especially during the winter months.

I agree with BikersDream, I keep mine on a battery tender and it still has problems starting when it gets into the 40's or lower

Everyone is right. Your battery is low. Once you have a fully charged battery, you won't have any more problems.

Thanks guys, I never take it off the tender. Maybe I need a new battery.
