wont shut off ??

Riding last night. Bike was running good. Descovered that I had no turn signals, brake lights, neutral light, horn, NOTHING ! Went back home and then
it would not shut off. I actually took the key out and nothing. I had to unhook the battery to get it to stop running..After I did that it started back up and everything workded fine. I know the battery connections are good because I just cleaned them off a couple days ago.:loony:

Well, it was both sides "switches" and the ignition switch as well. 3 different switches at same time. And as soon as I unhooked negative cable and rehooked which was about 15 seconds all 3 switches worked fine?

A buddy of mine had the same symptoms with his 05 ridgeback...see http://www.bigdogbiker.com/forums/help-wanted/13820-05-ridgeback-wont-shut-off.html....after double checking all the connections, we ended up replacing the EHC and bike runs as it should.....I note that the 08 EHC's appear to have a much better track record than the 05's so take this FWIW.....hope this helps...cheers
