Wolf

Just got my 09 Wolf back from S&S today. Replaced cam belt, tension plate, and installed new 569 cams free of charge. Once again S&S has proven to be a top rated company that stands behind their product. The bike is 3.5 years old with 13000 miles. Out of warranty to say the least yet S&S steps up to the plate. A special thanks to Jeff and Justin. Two years ago the place I bought the bike from overtightened the oil plugs and stripped out 1/3 of the threads on both plugs. S&S again fixed the problem free of charge. Just thought everyone would like to hear something positive come out of all the other negatives in life. Wish more companies would follow suite. Scott

Good deal ! I think some guys get the idea big dog, s and s aren't quality products because we are always posting about our problems here. We don't often here of all the successful long bike trips and all the good reliable times these bikes have given us. Often times some individuals just seem to have problems with everything from the car to washing machine to there bike. That's the beauty of this site and the helpful folks here willing to share their knowledge and experience to those who need it.

Starts easier. Not sure how much performance gained. Engine sounds like it is taking in big gulp of air just as turn off. Not sure if when kill switch is hit it opens exhaust valve so easier to start or if when hit ignition switch the compression valve open for easier starts? Have to read up again on S&S site. Seems to have a little more throatier sound at idle and sounds quieter at cruising speeds than before. Not complaining just have to get used to new sounds. Need to get some maintainence issues fixed soon so I can get out riding again. Scott

After I got my Wolf in 2009, I had a oil leak in the lower casing. Sent it back to S&S and they installed a new case. I also installed a larger throttle body, unlocked ECH and the larger cams. They were great to work with on all the upgrade advising what would work best in the wedge engine.

They are first class

yes they did unlock and reflash. Starts much easier. Nicer sound expect when you turn off engine it acts as if letting out air from the pipe. Not sure if the compression releases are opening at this point or if they open when first start and close when compression builds. Either way it works and sounds great. Scott
