wiring issue

I finally got my starter fixed. but i wasnt there when the guy took my battery out and there are wires im not sure which side of the battery they go to. the way i have it now the bike turns on and the starter turns the bike over but it doesnt fire...anyone have a wiring diagram for a 2000 husky?

other than the wire that goes to the starter and the wire that grounds to the frame there are 3 wires that are there and im not sure what they are

If you have a black one that bolts to the frame, of course that's negative. the rest should be positive. one coming from the circuit breaker for charging, one powering the EHC or what ever your running in there, and one to the ignition switch. I'm not positive on the 2000 year models, so if I'm wrong, someone will correct me I'm sure.

according to the wiring diagram i have too many wires at my battery... so one of the wires shouldnt be connected to my battery...now to find out where it goes....lol

Just make sure your main pos and neg wires are hooked up. Then take a test light and connect it to the pos. Touch each wire. If the test light lights up it's a neg wire. If not, it's a pos wire...
