Well...that black box is the WP power module sounds like ya fried it mine went out last year.

I see an issue with the circuit breaker, someone wired the WP directly to the VR line. Not to mention it also doesn't even appear your have a fuse going to Your WP modules.

You are going to at minimum need to get a new power module and some rewiring. Also test your VR to make sure it isn't over charging. To me it sounds like it may have been over charging which took out your WP and considering there was no fuse...ya had nothing to save ya.

Someone may have a WP module they will sell you..lots of us have removed and upgraded to the Newer RIP kits or the likes. It would be a good time to consider an upgrade if you have the funds.

Also just to let you know you can call WP and ship them the module and they will test it. But it's about how long you willing the bike to be down.

Take the black box out and smell it..mine smelled burned even days later so I knew there is no saving it.

After WP I quit reading.... Throw it in the trash and rewire the bike. Jake (who's selling his bike) put my WP in and it lasted 198 miles... RIP, Doc's or old skool either way a much better way.... Good luck.

My post #2 covers it all.

Either call WP get a replacement module which will probably be $250-300

Or go with a RIP kit or something similar which will be 2x the price but a much better unit. That WP unit isn't all that great anymore. It was nice fix 5+ years ago now we got more options.

Whatever you do you need to move the wires feeding your computer off the breaker and onto the battery directly with a dedicated fuse to the computer.
