Instead of posting more new posts I was wondering what I should look for to have both of my tires replaced. Can a Harley place etc. do this without messing up my rims or bike ?

Aint gonna lie, sometimes. I took in a set to a place I had used in the past. Took em 3 hrs only to call me n say, come get the wheel n tire. We could not remove the old one. So it can be hit or miss. I always take in just the wheels n tires. Makes sure they dont "fix" something else. Good luck.

CB is more than likely the stock CB between the VR and battery. If so, install an additional CB or Fuse between the battery and the EHC. Otherwise the EHC is not protected from the battery shorting out.
Also I would call Big Dog to get their opinion on the NOCO lithium battery being installed along with the RIP kit.

I want to debunk this right off the bat, don’t call Matt for anything!!!! Call Donna and Derick who own this forum and or Curtis, Matt is a scam artist and isn’t worth the time of day!

Bought this 2006 Big Dog Mastiff a month ago. 9K MILES. Who ever owned it has upgrades on it. Took care of it. Anyways I am going through the bike and rather then wait for issues I like to eliminate them. First thing is the EHC. The wiring has been modified I just don't know for what. There are
Wago connectors and a inline 10 amp fuse. I was going to buy the stand alone EHC upgraded module but now I have zero idea if the wiring that was done will be compatible. There is also a switch by my ignition that has a module behind it. It is not for led lights and not a kill switch. I have flipped it on and off running and not running. Nothing happens. Also it has a chin spoiler with a oild cooler behind it. Did this come stock as it looks very much stock. Thank youView attachment 138398 View attachment 138396View attachment 138397
Congrats on the bike, I was wondering if you don't mind showing off that chin spoiler tho. I've never seen a chin spoiler on an 06 mastiff before. A while back I found a chin spoiler off a 07 Bulldog and bought it to put on my 06 Mastiff but without modding the crap out of it could get it to work.

Yes pictures of the spacers. They need to be put back the same way.
Yes take pictures. I put them back on the axle in order after its removed.. Good storage place and helpfull info when putting back together. Another note , rear spacers have a small ledge on one side. The ledge faces the wheel not the frame. It's there to sit against the inner bearing race and to prevent contact with the bearing seal . Pressing on the seal is not good.

Common rutine maintenance advise is to replace wheel bearings when changing tires.

I was thinking of taking off the tires. Id have to buy a lift though. what lift and how hard is it to take off and put on again ?
Yeah get a decent motorcycle stand. Taking the wheels off is a pretty easy deal. Like everyone said take pictures as you go for reference and notes on paper are helpful as well. The spacers are very important. Clean & organize everything as you remove it and you will be golden. Change the bearings if you have no idea how old they are!
