Wiring delima

So this 03 has the EHC, no turn signals (been removed), tail light comes on, won't crank, no brake light, speedo lights up. Bought it cheap but not sure I really got a deal now. Anyone got a wiring diagram I can fight my way thru? Guy I got itfrom has this thing all jacked.

Welcome from Kansas. Start with a good fresh charged battery. Make sure all connectors are secure and all grounds are grounded. Check the 20amp inline fuse and if its blown, check your headlight connector. This should keep ya busy for a second. Keep us posted and we'll try to get your pup barking.

So I've already been there. I know I have an ignition issue. Coil was missing and ignition module wires have been hacked. Has had a 04 igntion module "taped in" and I'd just like to hear it turn over with the starter switch. I can get the HI-4N installed to get it running next week. Would like to have lights and brake light before it goes down the road.

Sounds like its butchered good. I just order up a new unit and start fresh with all new wiring then you know what's what. With an 03 you got lots of options. Cost around $400 and you'll save time not trying to figure out what the PO did and keep banging your head on the wall.

Thunder heart makes a generic module that you can wire in.

Well I was able to repair three ground connections behind the battery and get it to crank, still no brake light but the tail light is lit.

Now forward to the headlight. I now have an oil pressure indicator and a neutral lamp lit.

Sounds like your on the right track. I have an 03 also, that I got as a basket case. I hard wired mine. I'm only a few hours away from you if you need any help with it.
