Wiring add ons?????

I am adding on several items, 4 extra brake lights, 2 running lights and accent lighting, all LED. Do I just tap into the original wiring, or do I wire into the main under the seat? Any instructions? Anything I should be careful of when doing either?

If you do some reading here you will find that the big dog ehc can be pretty touchy.
Many will advise not to tap into the factory wiring.
I have a led strip on my back fender that is hooked to the factory wiring for brake and turn.
I have had no problems so far. LEDs draw very little.
It really comes down to how brave you want to be.
If you cook the ehc you could always go with a wire plus.

I would give them their own fused/switched power supply. That way there's no chance of having any EHC problems! :up:

Thanks Stryfox, i have 2 led stripsfor brake only and 2 running/brake lights i want to add. Well worse case i get the unit sooner than later, got it planned for this winter.:flag:
