Wireplus help

I am wiring an 06 Chopper with a Wireplus kit. The 40amp breaker on my bike only has one post, I have purchased a 2 post 30amp breaker, I have it wired as follows VR to the gold post, on the silver post I have all the hot wireplus wires and the battery (+) Is this correct, I really don't want to fry anything. I'm really at a loss because BDM shows a two post breaker but I have an inline 40amp breaker to the battery.

Don't understand -- you can't have a one post breaker -- there has got to be power in -- breaker -- power out.

My 08 had 4 posts (2 in - 2 out)

There is a single post located about the bottom of the tank near where the seat slides in, wire from VR to that post wire from the post goes to a inline 40 amp fuse then to the battery. 40 amp fuse was zip tied to the ignition module. I can find nothing that looks like this in any of the expanded views on BDM

Sounds like a lug or post for joining wires. Could accomplish same thing by bolting the two wire terminals together and insulating so they do not touch any ground like the frame. The inline 40 amp fuse is providing overload protection.

The 40 Amp fuse was the recall fix by BDM for the failing Circuit Breaker. You need to remove the CB and use the one distribution post in its place. Attach the VR to it and the one end of the 40 Amp fuse line and tighten the nut. The other end goes on the Battery.
