I saw them on the wire plus web site, I've been trying to call them need a few ?s answered. I sa it say from 2004-2010 so is that a standard one that will fit all models or is it a siffrent one for EFI, plus im also going to need the ignition switch. did you install it yourself?

With the EFI I'm not sure which one you would use. I know someone will give you the correct info. I used the WP374. I also got the "simple kit" from Jake which allowed me to retain my original key switch. I did do the install myself. Not a problem if you can follow instructions. Pretty straight forward. Just read through the instructions a few times before you start cutting wires, and don't get in a hurry. I do believe most folks are ordering direct from WP. They only have a few employees left and they are sometimes hard to get in touch with. I think the wait is up to 3-4 weeks? Hope this helps.

When you say they are down to a few employees do you mean they are going under?

Got mine from Jake also when he was still selling them. I bought the "simple" kit which enabled me to keep my stock ignition switch. I seen one on Ebay today. Not sure if it would work for you but maybe you can email them and see if they can help. As for installing the wire plus read and reread the directions a few times. Get used to the parts it comes with. And double check before cutting any wires. Sometimes the wire cross each other on the connector. Other than that its all good. To keep your original ignition switch...you will receive an relay that you wire in. I did that part last. Fired right up for me when I was done.

The simple kit just has one more module to install. I don't know if the simple kit was a Jake exclusive? ? As far as how long it took....just a lazy Saturday afternoon. Id say about 5-6 hrs total. But Im kinda picky so I took my time and soldered and heat shrinked a lot of other connections as well.

No I don't think they're on the way out...I think its more of a downsizing thing. Not a big demand so not a lot of employees... they only work 4 days a week from what I understand.

I too have been trying to get ahold of them. No answer and no option to leave a message. Anyone know of a different phone number? Possibly a cell number or something?

If you think they are hard to get a hold of to buy, just imagine if you have a problem. Had to get mine replaced, and it took three weeks just to get them on phone. Couple three more to get it replaced. Not a fan.

To be fair they did replace at no cost though.

I consider my self lucky. If something goes wrong with mine, the factory is only about 40 miles from me so I will just pay them a personal visit. :D

So I finally got a hold of Wire Plus and the lady told me it now takes 4-6 weeks to get an order in. She also said the EFI kit requires another item to make it work on EFI bikes which cost about 25. My relay is staying on just a buzzing sound and the light that flashes, according to the service manual reads it’s the ignition. I was hoping on getting the wire plus and fix it all at once but I need my bike ASAP. So probably going to see about checking the ignition and getting it fixed
