I sent my wire plus back to them for a problem with it. Long story short, they will replace for a fee, about half price.

I have decided to go with TH-MHC.

If someone is interested in the wire plus, I will pay to have it replaced. I would need $350-$400 to make it worth my time. PM me if you are interested.

To be fair the original owner had the WP installed by an "electrician" and the wiring was a disaster. Had to tell what the real issue was. I'm completely rewiring whole bike, so I decided to covert to the TH.

At any rate theses WP modules will be replaced and verified by WP.

If no interest here I may just through on eBay.

Your a nice guy. Lol

That would not be worth my time, I will be paying that to get replaced.

Someone else just sold one for $350. They are still ~$600 new. Although that is nuts.

What is the TH? I bought a pitbull that has wire play already and half my hand controls and full speedo and tach don't work. Signal going into the hand control module but none coming out. The light blinks and everything.

In my humble opinion a WP unit isn't worth the trouble. Not when we have two superior units even at $300 I get another 300-400 is a lot but believe you me I've done both and never would I consider a WP even if it was given to me. The unit itself is fine, the install blows.

Hell I just posted a PDM kit with 2 controllers for free. That's unit blows but the install is fine...haha

So what do you think of the DOC's system? Or is there something better
:agree: On the search

Doc unit address's the headlight issue (melting plug) and there is no connector under the tank for the headlight, and all the hand controls are the same as OEM, you do have to change the backbone and rear harness's out, you can also add voltage monitoring and the air ride to Doc's unit. www.deadonecustoms.com

The RIP-1 and RIP-2 are the same except the 2 does not have the backbone harness just the rear harness, the 1 has both harness's and the hand controls are not the same as OEM, someone that has installed a RIP can join in and correct me if I'm wrong. You cannot add air ride or voltage monitoring to the RIP's

And you also have Axel's new unit that is truly a plug n play, remove EHC and plug his in, done.

Well mine already has been re configured and now has a bad wire plus unit which is what I need to replace. So it's no longer able for a true plug n play. So that being said which would be the best purchase? Quality wise?
