Wire Plus Questions???

I installed the Wire Plus about 9 yrs ago and it has worked well for about 9-10 yrs. It is still working well but, my brake lights do not work along with my hazards. Every thing works great. I have replaced the brake switches front and back, no change. I can hold down my brake lever front and back and turn my key on and I get tail light and goes right to the brake lights. As soon as I release the lever it goes to tail lights but will not return to brake lights. If I shut of the key to off and turn back on it will only work until I recycle the key. I understand that the brake lights and hazards work off the (LCM) Lighting Control Module, and I believe the (SCM) Switch Control Module. The Model# WP-374 instructions do not say which is which.
I tried to get ahold of Wire Plus, come to find out they are out of business. I don't know which module is bad or where to even buy a new one. Can anyone point me in a direction to make my repairs and parts?

Best thing to do at this point is to get rid of the wire plus...I would buy an axel ehc and a new wiring harness...1000.00 and that will fix the issues before they get worse...wildsteedworx.com and bigpartskingpin.com will have the parts you are needing

Thanks for the reply, I am just looking for a replacement module for now. I have not even heard of the Axel EHC. A full new harness is a big task....Im sure it alone is $1000. and a big teardown. Don't know if I can do it myself.....Labor would blowup that price......

Good luck! Not many of those modules around these days. You may as well get yourself setup to do the swap because at some point the WP unit is gonna smoke itself. Don’t know when that day is coming but it’s coming nonetheless.
