ok heres what i have got going on. I bought a 04 ridgeback that is a small project. it has the wire plus installed already, has the stock ignition switch. do you absolutley have to change the switch out for the system to work? also out of the 6 lights on the module 3 of them are green(bottom 3) when I turn on the switch. are they all suppose to be lit? it will not turn over when i hit the start button. any advice would be appreciated

When you push the Run button do you hear a small click from the Wire plus module under your seat?
Also, how's your battery check out? Voltage? Load test?
Always start at your battery and work from there. Your gonna have to break out a multi meter and start testing wires at some point I'm sure. Could be a number of things. But start with the battery, make sure everything is hooked up to it the correct way, and we can go from there.

Go to the right side of your motor, remove the cam sensor cover (cover held in place with two small allen screws) Verify the Ignition module that's under that cover. Does it have any names printed on it? Small switches? The original Thunder Heart ignition that came with the bike had a cam trigger plate under that cover and was just a plan looking machined aluminum sensor. Then it used an Ignition module under the seat (the part that's missing) and the dual fire coils under coil cover. If someone has updated that ignition with a single fir, Crane, or Daytona twin tec, ect...you will not need the Ignition module under the seat. The new ignition is all in one unit and under the cam sensor cover.

heres what I have, thanks for the advice to look there.

I am not getting any power to the ignition or coil. when i press the run button the green light on the black box in the wire plus will only light up as long as i hold the button on. I did how ever jump power straight to the coil and it fired right up. is that green light suppose to stay lite when i press run?
