Wire harness 2003 Chopper

Every time I have unpluged any of the connectors on the wire harness, the pins inside the connector have broke off inside. I have called BIG DOG and the replacement part to repair the connectors cost $238.95. I have tried to locate these connectors online with no luck. I would like any imformation in reguards too the 3 pin and 9 pin connectors.

Are you breaking the pin or the plastic connector? When you say pull apart the connector, again, you mean sperating the 2 halves of the plastic harness or pulling the pins out of the plastic connector?

THANKS FOR YOUR SUGESTIONS AND YES WHEN I SEPERATE THE TWO HALFS AND LOOK DOWN INSIDE THE MALE HALF THERE ARE SMALL COPPER PINS THAT ARE BROKE OF INSIDE.

Go onto ebay and look up Big Dog parts. You'll find a guy name Kingpin parts. He sells the harness that you need. Here is the part that you are looking for.

good call rain... just buy a new harness... they are usually cheap.. .like $20 or so

Yes - I bought from Kingpin myself - I have a 03 new chopper main harness they I may not be using - If I don't use it, I'll give it to you. Will know by the end of this week.
