Been board and anti-stock lately. Been doing a lot of powercoating and some is coming back together. I'll add more pics as it all comes in. What's being done;

Powdercoating;
Points cover, rocker boxes, enricher knob, license bracket, gas cap, primary mount, primary belt cover, Clutch Pack Cover

New Paint;
Redoing Fender with new chick (was never happy with the old bitch on the back). Its out in Kansas with Eye Kandy Customs who did the awesome job on the gal on the fuel tank.

Changes;
Changing oil cooler to a Jaggs -- never been happy with the look of the OEM one. New Belt (tore that bastard 'cause I'm an idiot and had the mount loose -- belt gave before the nut from over tension on the pully stop). New electrical harness from Wire Plus. Heat Demons for the handlebars. Speed bleeders. Barnett Stealth cables. All the oil lines and fittings. And of course all the fluids...:up:

Wanted to get a look in the tranny top to check for anything major and adjust the shifter pawl...

Dumb belt removal technique....:down:

and they said I'm out of control :eek: Is there a how to on that belt process yet :confused:

Looks great :2thumbs:

Looking good, seriously thinking of ratting my bike out next year, all flat black and maybe a couple pinstripes. Let me know what that new belt sets you back I was curious in case I need to replace mine.

Alhall --

Its 107 from J&P and 114 from Dennis Kirk. I'll bet an equivalent Gates belt can be found for around 70 with some research.

Thumper -- ah, you are out of control. I'm just learning from you. :cheers:

Thanks. Its a black matte powdercoat for exteriors -- baked on at 450 degrees in a kiln. If my motor ever gets that hot, I have bigger problems....

Built them to length from the JEGS performance catalog -- some fittings are back-ordered (6AN to 1/4NPT). I'll have pics up once I put them on.

Got the primary plates back from the powercoater in Deviltown (Manassass, VA). Pressed in a new bearing while I had it off - figured what the heck 7 bucks and I can do it now since it's off :up:

And the oil lines on.....now just waiting for the correct size (1 3/8") clamps to mount the oil cooler...

Marv -

Yea. Simple to cut and install. Just takes some time to put together without scratching. They make nice aluminum wrenches for this but they cost $$. I took my time and stretched electrical take over the surface and slowly turned the parts together in a grip vise. The hose is cheap but the fittings are like 7 bucks each.

It's nice not to have the DSSC -- that's a hydro actuator direct from Baker :up:

Got the electrical harness squared away ...just need to mount the fender to cut the lines down in the rear of the harness....

Moved the signal controller to the back of the rear splash cover.....it was under the tank before and completely fubar up there...

And fab'd a cover for the mess of electrical connections under the tank. Tank slides on much easier now...

And the Avon Grips are in and work with the Heat Demons heaters -- too hot on max which is a bonus..

And finally got the primary re-assembled....couldn't get the forward pully off so had to unmount the tranny. Good thing the primary housing is two pieces -- would have never worked otherwise....
