Getting ready to purchase a windshield for my 09 mastiff. Want to stay as small as possible. Is the 10 inch enough to force air over your head. Thanks

Pay attention to those things, the base tends to crack. Mine has cracks on both sides... been observing those on rallies. Over ⅓ seems to have cracks. You don't want the windshield to break loose and hit you in the face....

I had a Mastiff without windshield and after a few hours on the highway my neck usually started hurting.
I have the 10 inch windshield now on my K-9 and I no longer have any stiff neck after hours of riding....it works.
now I have to check if the base has any cracks!

Windshiels, "we don't need no stinkin windshields" :D
Guess I am old school but putting a windshield on a chopper just ain't right. But to each his own. Got 40,000 miles on my Ridge and been rained on, dust storm , hit enough bugs , but no windshield for me. JMO

In 1992 on the PRCA circuit riding bareback horses, I broke my neck. Did not parolize me but they drilled my skull and I wore a Halo unit for 8 weeks! My Orbital bone is still at a 40* slant. If I ride without blocking the wind, it puts a strain on my neck and I get one hell of a migraine headache! So if a windshield makes me look goofy or uncool then that's my issue! But it's ride with a windshield and enjoy something I love. Or sell both bikes!

I don't think it looks too bad with a windshield. True, for hopping around town, it looks better without, but first ride on this bike was almost 500 miles, and my neck didnt hurt at all.

image.png image.jpeg image.jpeg Bought a Bigdog 2 up seat, then brought it to my seat guy. He removed all the material and the foam. All he used was the factory base and molded foam to fit my lower back and made a back rest where the 2 up starts. Then added gel packs and recovered it in alligator!

Windshield don't look too awful bad really, but I noticed in the 2 pics that ya seem ta have different seats? Is the 2-up seat stock , or custom? The better half says if I get another bike,:whoop: it has to have 2 seats, cause she "aint sittin on no suction cup seat! " :oldnono: P.S. that's a really sharp ride ya got!!
I have the 2 up seat also, its a little wider for the passenger than the pillon, but its still on with suction cups on the rear, but your also sitting on it and it can't go anywhere.FullSizeRender3.jpg
