image.jpeg image.png image.jpeg well with the new tach the windshield did not fit. I looked at custom building a new plate but with the aluminum billet and time I was looking at about $300.00 with not really knowing the whole outcome of structural soundness. So I called Wind Vest who originally built the windshield mounts and brackets for Big Dog Motorcycles. They actually still had a couple of 1" extension pieces for what I was doing! So I got a set for $100.00 and they work perfect. My windshield clears the tach by 1/4". BTW, Wind Vest said these plate mounts have become rare and very very expensive. They went to a handle bar mount about 5 yrs ago. Something to do with to costly to build base plate.

I have a different type of mount for the windshield. The mounts that I have mount on the handlebars which will bring the Windshield up a
more than where yours is mounted. If interested let me know.

That's the mount Wind Vest sells now. Mine is the Bigdog set up using the billet alum plate under the handle bars.

Carlos has the goods! :old2:

Just like mine, that I've had for 12 years. Leave the rings attached to the bars/uprights and it's only 2 bolts to remove the bracket/windshield when not needed.
