Don't lie, it's really a 4 incher... oh wait, we're talking windsheilds, right? :roll::roll::roll:
4 inches from the ground..:Yawn:

I did a road test today...Weeny factor 2...comfort factor 9...& face doesn't get all pealed back on the freeway :) I don't care if I am a weeny....surprising how effective 10.5 inches can make. :up: passenger noticed a big difference. Easily removed for cool factor if I want to pay the price.

Does the wind go completly over your head or hit you in the ears?
Yes, actually/oddly enough, I did feel a little on my ears. I could talk to my passenger with less effort. We had some cross wind today, kept it under 65, but no change in handling, may have better stability. Short test...less than 50 miles...time will tell.

I'll tell you there have been times when I would have liked one. Like when my glasses froze both on the outside and inside when I was riding in the snow. Couldn't see shit after that!!! :D

I was riding with a group of guys last month outside of Amarillo Texas. A big rig coming towards us threw up some gravel and it hit the guy in front of me. He almost went down. We all pulled over to the side of the road to check out what happened. The piece of gravel that hit him took his whole ear lobe off!

The guy has a windshield now.

Dogdaz.....sweat bike, from the springer front to pipes. The windshield fits perfectly. I picked clear to be less conspicuous. During my test ride I noticed looking through the windshield, the ground directly in front of the bike is distorted....after a few miles I lifted my line of sight, but I have a habit of checking the road for glass/debris/oil/etc. How is the smoke shield?

Here is my windshield great for the long rides.

Very nice! Did you have the graphics added, or did it come with them on it? Looks like a Big Dog (Windvest) 10.5"er? Nothing wrong with having some comfort on long hauls if it's easily removable for riding around town.
