Will this starter work?

Bigdogpartsking have reworked spike 1.8 starters for $99.99. Mine just died

yesterday and I believe it is a 1.4kw. Apparently some prosports had different

size starters. Mine is about 5-1/2" long and the 1.8 is closer to 8". Think it will

work? I already talked to Donna and she is going to check with Derek.

if its the one with the jackshaft LSD it will work..

It will work on ay 04 and older left side drive and all right side drive except dssc slammer

I would measure were the the battery post lug lands, as I think it will be on top of
your transmission speed sensor, there by arking. You could eleminate the speedo
sensor in the trany.

That is a very good point, it looks like the + lug may hit the sensor. I will call and get some

dimensions.

I just got off the phone with bigdogpartsking and ordered a 1.6 thunderheart rebuild for $99. I decided not to screw with making a bigger one fit, I just did the top end and I want to ride.
