SKOGDOG
One of the old ones.
A wise man once said, "A happy man has no past, while an unhappy man has nothing else".... What it means is something every biker knows every time he throws his leg over that Big Dog: Live in the present moment, without carrying the troubles of yesterday or worries of tomorrow. By any standard, today was a good one.
Blacktopper and I drove to Wichita today to visit Matt Moore at BDM (KMW) to check out the build progress on Roger's 330 K9. It should be done in a couple of weeks, and is really looking good. To top it off, Derek and Donna McCloud (Mr./Mrs. Shovelheadkicker) were there to see Matt, so we got to catch up with them too.
Following last week's rain and a cold snap, Kansas is back to weather in the mid-50's with full sun. That, along with a 360 mile round trip with a brother to look at choppers and spend a couple of hours with Matt Moore and his engineer Brandon makes for a day well spent...with a fine BBQ lunch to boot. Home in time for dinner with my beautiful wifey too.
