Why is the little air breather at the rear dripping oil?

Is there a guide somewhere on checking or replacing the check ball? I couldn't find anything through Google searching last night. I guess I should take this little air filter off and let it drain out and spray it with some brake cleaner or something to clean it out. Thanks for the help guys, you helped settle my nerves

I was able to take mine off and spray it out with some brake cleaner. Looks about as good as new now, except for a lil pitting on the chrome on the bracket It's as good as new now and ready to leak more oil lol

I pulled it out of the garage again today and fired it up and let it idle for a few minutes again. No signs of any oil drips where the bike was before I moved it out, none in the driveway below where the breather is, no drips/streaks as I pulled it into the garage. I'll just have to make sure if it's going to be a couple weeks between rides to pull it out in the driveway before letting it idle so it'll dump the oil there so I can spray it with some degreaser or something to help break it up and then rinse it down the driveway with the water hose.

I just put a small plastic container under mine (the kind lunch meat comes in).
No cleanup necessary.

I usually put a tuna fish can under the hose for the first start of the year. Yes it can look like alot of oil. No big deal! I let mine warm up then change the oil.
