Who manufactured Big Dog EHC's?

With all the issues Big Dog had with the OE EHC, I wonder who produced them for Big Dog? Not that it matters much, just curious. I am thinking of replacing my original EHC with one of Axel's modules. I like the fact that it is a direct fit without modifications of the wiring. You would have thought the maker of the original BD EHC would have ''fixed" their product, and offered it for sale as New & Improved!! Maybe they did and I just have not heard of it..

I don't know who made the EHCs but was told the earlier versions didn't have very good quality control. So they went with a different company and had much better results.
