Talked to my dealer today and they are still stumped over my bike its been 6 weeks there. They say they have had every connection apart on the bike and even pluged in another EHC to it and it still is fucking up.He sayes that he is going to change out the boards in the handle bars today and after that he has no idea he says he is just going to let me have it back to ride and maybe it will just quiet running so he can find it. Any one else with any positive ideas. Im beside myself with this mother fucker.

If I were psychic like my wife, I would know what the hell you are talking about. My bad, she's psychotic! :loony: Close, but not quite the same. So Tom, how about a little history on this "mother fucker".:rolleyes::job:

Six weeks is a long time to be without the ride, especially as the weather warms up and you see other bikes on the road. I understand the frustration, especially if the mechanic doesn't even have an idea as to what the problem is. I'd tell them to rewire the whole thing. I am sorry to hear of such an extreme example of a problem. Good luck. I would keep on them, they probably gave up on it and are not actually looking at it every day. It is probably sitting in the corner of the shop.

I doubt it. They're probably :bang: , and

EHC/ BDM Electrical System issues are "NOT" the easiest things to figure out sometimes. :nono:

Especially with what this one sounds like it's doing. :loony::crazy:

And if I know Tom, he's probably ready to :smash: the thing!

Good Luck Tom! :2thumbs:

dead

While you are driving down the road it will have a horn beep and flashers go off and dies. Then you can just hit the start button and it will start back up and then turn the flashers off and ride. Theirs no telling when it will do it again 10 min. 2 min. a hour who knows. I know its driving me crazy. But they have had it for 6 weeks now and are no closer than when they got it. Sorry about that I've talked about it so much lately I think everyone knows what Im talking about. Rattled.

Maybe time to switch the EHC to the Wire-Plus??? Problem with that though is that if that doesn't fix it, then you're out $500.

That said, I changed to the Wire-Plus a few months ago, and have had no issues (knock on wood).

I feel yer pain there Tom, I left mine at a shop for nearly two months over the holidays spent a butt load of money and when I did get it back it only lasted for one ride and it failed again. Mine was shutting off intermittantly. No horn stuff though. i had aluminum shavings dancing around in my throttle side switch housing. Take a good close look to be sure your circuit board and the connector and pins are all clean in the clutch side switch housing. Good luck and please let us all know what your outcome is.
