where to buy heatshields

does anyone know where I can get heat shields for my stock 2 into 1 pipes for my 04 Pitbull

I only need the left side, I was changing the oil while the motor was hot and had on a cheap pair of work gloves and accidentally touched the shield and the glove melted on the shield , tried polishing it off but it didnt work but I will keep trying if I cant get a nice replacement

Left side? Rear cylinder? If you get it hot it may come off easier. Easy off has worked too. If non of that works after you ride it a few times that stuff will flake off. The heating and cooling made mine pop off with just a little effort.

EZ Off Oven Cleaner - use it on cold (not hot) pipes -

I tried easy off and was able to get a little of it off the shield so I put some more on and will let it sit over night and see what happens

Also never dull or 0000 steal wool.

Ill give that a shot as well , just tried my dremil with a felt pad after the easy off sat all night and a lil more came off but not much , maybe as you mentioned just let it come off by itself from getting hot from riding

I can get that shield at supertrapp for 129.00 , I hope i can get it off .lol

How big is this spot? I've had some crap on my pipes from boot and shoes but nothing that wouldn't come off. If it bothers you that much send it here and I'll get it off.

Thanks , Im getting it off little at a time ,I imagine it will all come off eventually and like you said it will probably come off easier from getting the pipes hot , but lousy cold weather here latley but thanks for the offer!!
