WHERE IN THE WORLD IS SKULLY

OK guys, most of you know that several months back i sold my custom one-off painted k-9 " SKULLY" (Oct issue of the calendar) I understand the bike ended up in Ocala Fa. I'm interested in seeing if anyone has seen the bike and to know what they have done with it.
Let the hunt begin.....

skidmark, thanks for looking out for my old scoot. i am courious if the guy takes the credit for all the custom work and paint, or is he honest about it and gives credit where credit is due. if you ever see it, read the coins on the oil tank. they will have either my name or the shops name printed on the coins. and, if you read the map on the tank, it shows the treasure in burried in Zephyrhills. its just one of those things you sometimes wonder about.

Will do. I always admired your bike even before I got a BD. I was shocked that you sold it...I think I remember you got a HD so your wife would be more comfortable.
If the dude is around here and rides it, I will run into it eventually. I'll see if he is a douche and claims he did all the work. If so, I'll set him straight, hopefully in front of his riding buds and chick! :roll: :roll:

ok, BB Chopper saw "Skully" at Leesburg, he said the guys was having a electrical fire of some sort, did anyone else happen to see the bike and/or talk to the guy. i'm still trying to chase it down.

i'm thinking it was the battery, i had that happen once on #13 (my red k-9) where the battery shorted and started on fire. scary , but other than burning the cable end up, no major problem.

believe it or not, but Peanut is still broken hearted about me selling Skully.
she went throught the whole process with me when i bought the bike when it was black, the accident, the rebuild, the custom sheet metal work, the planing of the paint. i think she loved that bike more than me , lol. even though she has her own custom she says nothing will replace the K-9. she even keep her p-pad from the bike. "if i can't set on it anymore then no one else is either".

I can tell you, the dude is not in the Ocala area. I get out enough to have seen it, or at least know someone who has seen it. There are only a few chops around here...I think I know all the owners. If a "new" chopper showed up at one of the local holes, I would have heard about it.
Could be the dude is in Lake County, where BB saw him burning. If so, it's very likely that our paths have not crossed. Leesburg is only about 30 miles away, but I never go down there.
