Lowes guy said their machine wouldn't cut it, Harley doesn't (ok I know thieves would try but damn have the persson show the registration or something!!!) so if Home Depot doesn't I'm down to one key??? I call bullshit.

This is a blank I was able to use. I went to a locksmith shop to get it.

Back when I got mine years ago, they had lost the key, the only key. It was the original switch on it. To our surprise the key to my Exmark Lawn worked great. I immediately changed the switch to a new one, new keys and all. Knothead put a new switch on mine last year when he had it fixing some stuff that was over my pay grade stuff to fix.

This maybe the "Master Key" layout ..
That key works in both my dogs .. LOL
reminds me of Harley sportsters back in the day -- there weren't a lot of combos and you could frequently find another bike your key worked on from what I am told. (wasn't riding HD in those days)
I doubt there's master layout for the BDM keys but I could be wrong -- Will have to test yours in my bike when I see you next!
A key I could use on either of my K-9's would be nice.

I live in North Carolina and I ordered two extra keys from big dog of course they're not cut, and I took them to Ace hardware, and they did it. It no problem. Now I have three keys.

I just have to throw it out there and it's off the subject. I can remember a time you could buy a skeleton key at the Five & Dime that would open all of your neighbors front doors. Very few neighbors in a small town would lock their front doors. That's getting really back in the past. My dream back then was to have a Cushman Eagle.
