Where do you take your dog in Chicago Burbs

I know many techs and they are all great guys, but I would like a BD tech to work on my bike, do we have any in Chicago Burbs.

I called DD Customs one of the premier bike builders and Dave told me that it would cost $1800 to make the dog run the way it should, removing the ECU, changing out the coild, put wire plus, Cranes 4 egnition, get the engine to perform like a 117 should.

I like the Idea of all those things but $1800 is kinda steep

What do you guys think.

1800 you should be able to get the bike completly re-wired and not even have a wire plus.

The stock coil is just as good as whatever he will buy you, I belive they come with Dyna from factory. Upgraded ignition is a decent upgrade however you can run the bike without upgrading just fine. It would be a nice upgrade to perform later down the road if you wanted to save money now.

The bike cuts out sometimes while running to working on one cylinder and sputters all over the place sucks to ride it and not trust it. So I am trying to figure out a way to get it done right and enjoy the bike, and not have a bunch of techs who dont work on BD experiment on my bike.
