Where can I get a new clutch carrier/basket?

Need some help, was having strange clutch issues on takeoff, adjusted and still no good. Decided to take the entire thing apart which was a first for me to find the carrier or clutch basket is cracked all the way around. Figured something wasn't right when I was able to wiggle the whole thing when I took the primary cover off. So where can I get a replacement, preferably the updated version. Hate to have the bike down with such nice weather. Thanks!

Baker sells them or you can get one from Bandit.

Personally, I like the bandit unit.
Thanks, saw on another thread that the Baker goes for $400 with inner hub for that price you can get a whole new assembly from Bandit, and Bandit sells just the carrier for $140 with bearing and no inner hub. Anyone know how difficult it is to press out of old and into the new carrier? Mechanics at work have a press that I could use just don't know if its something easy to mess up.

Pressing a bearing isn't hard when you have the tools. I'm sure one of your mechanics would likely do it for a six pack
I'm gonna stop by and talk to him cause looking at it I don't see where to press against if the carrier is busted.

Hey dont forget to order a new Hub Nut too from Baker along with that Inner Hub. Both are new and the hardened version to take the 150 ft/lbs when you reinstall.

Like i mentioned in the other thread the new inner hub is hardened also since you rode on that one it's probably all fubbard anyways from flapping around due to the broken carrier. Fix it once right and be done with it forever is my opinion.

Thanks Eric I'll pick one up. Actually my inner hub looks great but as you said do it right once! Plus I have no idea how the hell you would press it out with the busted carrier, really nothing to press against to get it out.

And Ker, yeah the bearing definitely feels a little worn, not real smooth. I'll get it all sorted out Monday and get something ordered weather it be a new carrier hub and nut or the complete bandit setup, but if that doesn't come with the inner hub then it will definitely be just the carrier, hub and nut.

Replace the bearing -- do not re use it. So no need to worry about what to push against
Will definitely use new bearing, was referring to the inner flanged hub pressed into the bearing. But everyone says to go new on that too so I will. Biggest decision now is to go with the carrier/bearing/inner hub/and nut, or just go with the full bandit setup with new clutches and everything.

Had a bandit on my first K-9, was very happy with it.
With this K-9 next time I'm working on clutch I'm going to the EFM auto-clutch (I'm getting old and tired of holding clutch lever in traffic)

Also anyone know, is it normal to be able to turn the transmission main shaft almost but not quite a 1/4 turn with it in gear before the rear wheel starts moving?

Ok looking at the pics I took maybe not a 1/4 turn. But compare the 2 pics and look at the bolt, this is the amount it moves before the belt/rear tire will move when in gear.

Cleaned everything up today so it's ready to go and just started draining the trans. Any idea what kind of fluid is this, it's thick, reddish, and smells like gear oil. This is from the trans. Still need to figure out what primary and trans fluid I'm gonna use. Primary depends on weather I go with the Bandit setup or stay stock clutchs, cause Bandit recommends a certain type. Trans can be whatever works.
