Its a simple operation. Remove cotterkey, pull pin and spring, pull pads out, slide new pads in (you may have to compress the pistons a little) replace pin and spring, rplace cotter key, Done

It's simple for the people who know how to do it, but if you've never done it before it's not so simple. Being that you depend on your brakes quite a bit it's not really something you want to screw up.

Which is why he's asking for a how to, probably with pics to help.

Now if everyone practices what they preach about offering help I'm sure someone can put something together quick.

Hang tight surferdude, someone will be able to help you out. Congrats on wanting to do the job yourself.

There's this way...

Remove cotterkey, pull pin and spring, pull pads out, slide new pads in (you may have to compress the pistons a little) replace pin and spring, replace cotter key, Done.

Or have a qualified mechanic...

If you're compressing the piston then you better take the cover for the master cylinder off. That cotter pin will most likely break when you take it off so have a spare. It's definitely easy to do.

I need to do mine soon after this weekends trip, so will post up pics when it is done. But that will not be for a week or two. The first time doing anything can be frustrating:cheers:

AS soon as my pads come in from Mick, I will be happy to post a how to with photos. That may be a few weeks.
