Chopper Dave

SIICK!!!
I usually do mine when it really starts getting cold...and or if its going to snow...its going to be 53 this Sunday:whoop: I am not putting my shit up just yet.....can probably get a few more rides in:D:cheers:

last year I put my scoot up the Sat. before Thanksgiving...went for a ride to run the SeaFoam through the tank....and it was 33 degrees out...the following week it snowed and they salted the roads:bang:

not enough time 4 riding
Last couple of years I stopped riding on December 31 and started back up on January 1. As long as the roads are dry and there isn't sand/salt on the roads, I ride all year long. I am sure people think I am crazy being out on a motorcycle when the temperature is below freezing,, and they are right

I'm a temperature wimp...it's gotta be at least 55 degrees and no wind before I'll head out on the Dog. But once they salt the roads up here, that's it until April for me. I cover it up and store it in my garage, which is heated (to some extent). I keep it on a battery tender and have a goldenrod plugged in under the bike too.

I parked mine a couple of weeks ago. Our temperatures have been in the 20's for 2 weeks now and had snow on Sunday. Our riding season is done.

I just did my winter service last weekend but haven't put it in the bubble yet... I'll store it out in the shed in a bubble with desiccant bag.
Just need to add stabile and it's down for the season..

Christmas and Thanksgiving most years I take a ride ...if its not snowing " now if Ray was hear ...well I might have to to take the dog out just cause ... just layer:roll::roll:

Hit 54 so took the dog out for a run. Parked her in the garage and it dropped to 36. Rest of the week going to be in the upper 20's so I think my time has come to put her away.:down:

We have flowers blooming all year long. My Dog never hibernates. It was about 85 and sunny today. Rode to the beach.

Hooo Humm. Just another shitty day in Paradise.
