Wheel recall

Just picked up an 05 Ridgeback and found out there is a recall on the rear wheel. Also just found out it will take 8-9 months to get a replacement wheel. Anyone else had any issues like that

took off my stock wheels and put spokes on mine

I got mine right away after the recall came out.

I thought I was getting a new one and gonna send off to be chromed but dealer told me it will be in in may or june of 2011. Kinda bummed me out. Hope it don't fly apart going down the road

I ordered one at the end of last year and still no word. Apparently Big Dog is sending them to folks who already have cracked wheels. I agree with your other post. The people at Full House are great. I am over in Gainesville. If you are going out on a Sunday shoot me an e-mail if you want company (and if I can get out). I normally go out west to Warrenton, then back up to 66. I have an 05 Ridgeback as well.

My wheel came in about a month ago. I had to ride up to Fullhouse Cycles to get it put on. It was a little chilly, but they told me I had about two weeks to get it replaced or they were required to send it back.

Hey Reaper did you have to modify where your tank is on the frame (move back) to keep your springer front end from hitting the tank when turning?? Splitlog did on his K9 was wondering about the Ridgeback.

No, everything worked perfectly, no mods, or moving the tank for the springer. My tank is a one off custom, so luckily it was already in the right place.
