wheel hub torque specs

i looked and asked too...no luck i just did mine and torqued to 50 ft # with red locktite...and only torque the button heads on the disk to 24# not 50# as the manual says!

From the. manual.

1. Chase and clean all threads
2. Bolts should be primered with Loctite 7649
3. Apply Loctite 277 to all threads
4. Torque all bolts in a star pattern to 40 ft lbs. Then finish off to 50 ft lbs.

I've never used the Loctite primer and never had an issue but I do clean all the threads.

Guess since you have the hubs off you will need the rest. Here it is:

Brake rotor - 25 ft lbs star pattern
Rear pulley - 60 ft lbs star pattern
Rear axle - 55-65 ft lbs
Front axle - 45 ft lbs
Front axle pinch bolts - 12 ft lbs
Belt tension - 1/4 - 1/2" deflection at 10 lbs of force with riders weight

I found out the hard way that the above spec for the brake rotor bolts to 50 ft lbs is incorrect. It is 25 ft lbs.
