Whats to do in the Fort Benning area?

Has anyone been in or around Fort Benning lately. Guess this being a military post there are a number of bars, tattos parlors and whorehouses. Wife is going so that leaves out 1 of the above establishments out. Havn't got my carry and conceal license yet. So where can an Irishman have a some beer and chow without getting my head bashed in. Might be able to get a few phrases of Dixie out if the needs be.

Is there a regulation on helmets on mil. posts (mandatory, kp, or shot at dawn)?
