Anybody know what the loudest pipes are for a bdm?

Is it better to go with baffles or a certain diameter?

Thanks

uh...... um..... "baffles" ??? :loony:

I would be some of the custom pipe jobs would be serious, but I'm running Big Radius "commando". They do pretty good without causing me to get stopped every time by the cops.

OH.... and WELCOME to ya !!

I run a Doug Keim MMF Bad Ass and it's pretty loud. I had a baffle installed at the time I ordered it and I cannot even begin to imagine what it would be like without one. The pipe is pretty short so, it will be loud. Oh yeah, when you're on it, it shoots fire like you're in 1st or 2nd stage afterburner, pretty cool.

I have Yaffe Phantoms and they are pretty loun. No one likes to ride to the right of me. They go deaf.

I've had the Doug Keim's LMF and the BMF both without baffles but I have heard that the R&B 124 prostock challenge pipe with the 2 inch primarys and 3 inch reverse collector is stupid loud. I have one ready to install on my bike hopefully next week sometime and I will post back my findings.

As soon as I purchased my BDM Chopper I went over to Martin Brothers the very next day and picked up the "Medustas". i had thought about taking off the baffles before installing them, but they are loud enough as is and sound wicked. I shoose those because i like the way it kind of twist over eachother and the way the tips are cut. Wife said the bike was loud enough when I brought her home and dosent much care for them, but she said I couldn't stop smiling after I installed them and turned her on. She was right, because I got turned on after hearing that chop.
