Everyone should own the repair manual for their pup.

Give that Wicked Bastard Nelson a ring and he will cut you a great deal on this MUST HAVE item.:2thumbs:

20 to 24 ounces of redine heavy shockproof gear oil in the 6spd Baker on my '03 Chop. This info was recieved directly from Baker Drivetrain. In my service manual it says BDM recommends Rev Tech tranny fluid. Why would BDM recommend something different than the Manufacturer of the trans?

Now Baker recommends Spectro Synthetic Heavy Duty Platinum 6 speed trans oil. I heard there was some issues with Red Line, But who knows. I had a trans w/ 3,000 miles blow up driving up the rode w/ Red Line, not sure if it was the fluid, but I am not taking a chance. I figure Baker changed their recommendation for a reason.
