Now i am sure some of you on here may struggle to remember that far back  But give it a shot and let's see what your first road bike was.
Mine was a Yamaha 50cc FS1E in yellow, back in 1982 when i was just 16 years old. I paid £50 for it ($74) and bought it from a friend. I got a good deal on it as it had no gear shift leaver, so i just stuck a pair of vice grips on it, off i went and have never looked back since. :)

72 CB500... Rescued it from salvage, file for abandoned title, cleaned up all the rust, got my motorcycle endorsement...

1st day riding it to work, went to stop and fell over I was so nervous... LOL

Later the next year heading down the NJ turnpike headed to the base... blew off the slip on mufflers... HAHA ohh the memories...

I too had a Honda CT70 for my first bike, simply indestructable ! But my first STREET ridden bike was a candy red Honda SL175 twin 4-stroker, purchased used in High School after I saved every dime i could working all summer. Road that thing everywhere and all the time, kinda like my first girlfriend....Shoo

I don't have pics but my first what I would consider a real motorcycle was a
1967 Bridgestone! 175 I had a few before that like a moped with the pedals and
a couple mini bikes with lawnmower motors that I took off of dads mower lol,
the the Bridgestone was my first real motorcycle I bought front a yard sale in 1976 for
$50.00 rode it home! great bike!

My first bike was a 1936 Harley flathead 80. My uncle gave it to me on my 12th birthday when he bought a knucklehead. Back then in TN I got away with riding it everywhere and had it until I was 16. I then traded it for a knucklehead with my electric guitar and fender amp. It leaked oil and was hard to start but I didn't care. Rode it in the summer and winter. The good old days...

My first was a 1971 Honda CB350 that I bought it in 1975 when I was 15. It was my favorite mode of transportation to and from high school.

My first real road bike was a Honda XL75. I ended up stripping the turn signals off and making it into my trail bike:

Looking forward to retirement
:rolleyes:1975 XR-75, I was 9 yrs old. I had to run about a mile on the streets to get to the trails. Then we were off and running for the day. Cops would wait for us and it looked like quail flying down different streets with them trying to catch us.

I don't have any pics but my first chopper was almost identical to Pablo's bicycle in the photo above, my first street bike was a 1988 GSX-R 1100! To this day it was by far the fastest thing I have ever rode!:whoop:
