The engine mount bolt at the top under the tank. Mine has been gone for some time and I want to replace it but don't know what size it is. Thanks.

Call your dealer to make sure you get the right bolt. There was a service bulletin on this and they may give it up. I lost mine while riding and could immediatly feel the vibration from no top support. The bolt comes with washers to. Add locktite and torque. You should also check all the bolts in the coil/ mount assembly:2thumbs:

Oh, I noticed it.......Just been too lazy to fix it. There; there's the honest truth.....LOL

It is the frame bolt. The one in the center.

Yep thats the bolt that a buuletin was sent out on and that I lost. You might want to check all engine bolts if you been ridin it a lot:up:

I think its a simple 3/8" coarse bolt... just need another K9 to check theirs... could just to the hardware store with the bike and try out the 3/8 and see what threads in... then get it in chrome!

I gave my bike its annual wipe down tonight and the same bolt is gone on mine too! also looks like I need a spacer between the coil cover and the frame - I didn't measure it but there must be a good half inch gap there - does that sound right?

Ok, so I bought a bolt last week, put red loctite all over it, tightened it in there and look yesterday; IT's GONE!!

What color loctite is the strongest? I hear green is. I don't want to have to check it for tightness every freakin day.!!
