What Kind of Bolt Is This?

Anyone know of a good source for bolts? Zero local places carry a 1/4-20x3" chrome button head bolt. Search online and can only find a few sites but it's like $4 for the bolt and $10 for shipping and will probably take awhile to get here.

I need to get another bolt bit about 1/2" longer. It's for the air filter bracket that threads into the head. Is this like a self tapping bolt? Can I use just a regular one? I need a 3" chrome one thread is 1/4 20. Local stores don't have anything and can't find online. Any idea where I can check if I can't just use a regular bolt? Thanks
My dm spike kit I had 2 bolts that go into the head the had a whole in them for the little chrome metal filters can be used instead of the small filter between the tanks , but they don't look like mine at all , I would guess that the just change the style of getting air in there

I'm in Arizona, I can look it up online but not sure what the proper name is for a bolt that is cut like that. Unless it's not needed, then I can order a basic button chrome bolt
As long as u put a small air filter between the tanks u just use regular chrome bolts, but u need 1 filter or the other. Good luck

I'll give D&M a call tomorrow and see what's up, it's the bolts in this kit..

It's for venting if u don't put the small filter between the tanks but the length u will need because when u put the bracket onto the carb the left and right bracket holes that line up to the heads. It's going to need washers behind the bracket to the head bolts. DM's spike is a nice piece I have a pit bull and I needed washers unless the newer ones have small spacers but I doubt it

It may be stronger than the center drilled breather bolts....?
Bro that things not moving after u put the small 3 screws into the carb u will see the space need for washers don't tighten the 3 bolts like they are staying in there because u will be taking the right back out

Idk, weird that they use it in that kit since The 117 doesn't breath through the bolts
I have the 04 anniversary addition with there trial of the 117 cu inch to see how it goes but I bought the dm spike, bracket, and jet but mine has the vent holes in the heads then they put the 117 cu inch motor on 05 model from there on out...with the emissions and 300 rear tire, and right side drive. Hope the info helps

Not the same 117 between 04 and 05 even, I suppose there might be a few late model 04's possibly but not likely.

Difference is S&S Super Sidewinder vs the S&S Super Sidewinder Plus. (SSW+). The only difference between these engines entirely is the breathing system. Considering the engine has been around since the 80's can't expect much!
