Start with initial settings of:

1. Idle Mixture Screw, 1 1/4 turns from lightly seated
2. Idle Speed Screw, 1/2 turn clockwise from engagement point
3. Accelerator Adjustment Screw, 2 turns counterclockwise from seated.

Start Bike

Adjust Idle Speed Screw - clockwise to increase, counter clockwise to decrease

Adjust air/fuel mixture by turning Idle Mixture Screw clockwise until the motor runs poorly - Slowly turn the screw counter-clockwise until runs smooth. If you go too far engine will stumble.

With motor running, turn Accelerator Adjustment Screw clockwise until lightly seated. Blip the throttle and engine should stumble. Turn screw counter-clockwise 1/4 of a turn, blip throttle, repeat until engine response is smooth and quick.

Go out and ride. If engine is popping or sneezing from air cleaner, you are lean. If you notice stumbling or sputtering it may be rich.

Smaller jet is leaner, Larger jet is more rich.

I have 600 Cams, V&H, Crane Hi Fire Ignition. Before going to a Mukuni, I ran . 076 & .032and it on the money. Later I added a siphon kit and actuall dropped down to .072 & .031. But with your set up you should be at 076 & around .031 - .032

I am running the same jets and my plugs look just like yours. If you figure it out please let us know. I am going around in circles on this. When I went from 032 to 033 I started to get popping in the carb and decel pop. I did not have that with the 032. I have my idle screw out about 3/4. If I go either way the motor slows down.
The funny thing is the bike runs great.

hd dealer should have these right?
If you're going to change them, go to S&S's website and check out their dealer locator - you can buy jets from an authorized S&S dealer. Just any old dealer won't carry parts for the Super E or G carbs.....If it's a G tell them you need Type 94 jets (provide jet number). Fortunately for me I have a Harley shop within 20 minutes from my house that carries these parts. Been there a few times playing with different setups.

Good luck!!!
