WHAT JETS ARE YOU RUNNING IN YOUR CARB?

I have an 07 Mastiff with the 117 engine and VH 2/2 Big Radius. I had problems with very bad deceleration popping. Other than that it ran pretty good. After looking at all the fixes on the forum (Exhaust, intake, S&S basic tuning) I decided to take a look at the jets.

The previous owner had a .031 intemediate and a .076 main. Not sure if this is stock?

By looking at the condition of the plugs and the soot in the exhaust I decided I would try to go leaner with a .295 int and a .074 main. I tuned it per S&S and rode around with a screwdriver and dialed it pretty well. Runs like a bat out of hell!

So I'm curious what other Big Dog carbs are running with?????

Thanks!

Just put 28/70 in mine today, 4300ft. I put new plugs in at the same time. I must say I'm getting very close. Might sound crazy but I think a .0275 jet and It'll be "there". About 1 and 3/4 turns on the AF screw to get the popping out, and she doesn't run too bad. I also put a 48 in the air bleed and that made the biggest difference. I gotta tell ya everything I know about S&S carbs I learned right here. This place has been a valuable tool.

Keep in mind that most decel pop comes from a lean condition. I would go with a .032 intermediate.
